South Regional Tournament

A year of hard work and determination by the ECU Ice Hockey Club has culminated in an invitation to the South Regional Tournament being held in Alpharetta, GA Feb. 2-4. The top 8 teams in the South are invited to the annual event and it is often referred to as the "gateway to nationals." A strong showing by the Pirates could propel them into a top 4 position which is required to secure a trip to the ACHA National Tournament being held in Ft. Wayne, Indiana early this March. The Pirates currently sit at number 7 in the south and have been seeded at 6 for the tournament. It will take place at The Cooler in Alpharetta and we will kick off the tournament by taking on #3 KSU, Friday the 2nd at 7pm. The Cooler is located at: 10800 Davis Dr, Alpharetta, GA 30004

Welcome Hockey Fans

Dear Pirate Hockey Fan,

Welcome to the ECU Ice Hockey Club blog! This will act as a venue for discussion between fans and allow you to talk to each other as well as select players throughout the season. It will also allow us to instantly update from the road... so no more waiting until the following Monday to find out how we did. We hope that Pirate Hockey fans from all over the country will use this to meet other fans and get a better insight into all things ECU Ice Hockey.
