ECU Splits With Clemson
Pirates Prepare for Radford, Playoffs02/12/07
GREENVILLE, NC - Coming off of a series split with Clemson this past weekend ECU is looking forward to securing the Regular Season Championship and a first round bye in the BRHC Tournament with a sweep of the Radford University Highlanders. The Pirates made quick work of the Tigers in the Friday night game scoring early and often to come away with the 7-2 victory, keeping their perfect season in tact at 12-0. However, a much hungrier Clemson team would take the ice on Saturday eager to be the first to put a tally in ECU's loss column. ECU would strike first but the Tigers would roll from there to a 6-2 victory, ruining the Pirates' perfect season.
ECU welcomes Radford to Greenville this weekend with game times set for 9:30pm Friday and 3:45pm Saturday.
